TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Employees are only permitted to transport clients in the client’s automobile. It is prohibited to transport a client in the employee’s personal vehicle. All employees have a DMV printout on file with Comfort Zone Elderly In Home Services, Inc.
LIVE-INS
Live-ins are provided on an ongoing 24 hour a day basis in the client’s home. This may be done with two employees, dividing their week up to cover 7 days per week, provided the employee does not work over 8 hours in a 24-hour live-in shift. The employee(s) must be provided with a separate bedroom. All services provided are the same as day-time services.
SECURITY SLEEPOVER PLAN
This is a plan where we provide someone to be in the home with the client between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This is to ensure that the client will not be alone in their home overnight. This plan is mainly for companionship and emotional security. With this plan, the employee must be provided with a separate bedroom.
HOLIDAYS
Holidays are billed at one and a half times than the normal rate. There is a 4-hour minimum for services provided. Holidays include New Year's Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
BILLING STATEMENT
Comfort Zone Elderly In Home Services, Inc has no start-up fee and requires no long-term commitment or obligation to eliminate any inconvenience. Statements are mailed out to you on the 15th and the last day of the month. They are due and payable upon receipt.
Because Comfort Zone Elderly In Home Services, Inc employs health aides, homemakers and companion-care to your home, we manage all of the necessary bookkeeping – income tax withholding, Social Security, Workers’ Compensation, etc. Each employee will leave you a time slip showing his or her name and the number of hours worked. Our bi-weekly statement to you will be based on the number of hours worked and the charge for these services.
